Why Do You Want To Make Money Online?

Do you have your reason on why you want to make money online? Let me share with you my story…

I have an ambition to become a journalist when I was a lot younger. I guess it must have been like that because I have always thought that my idol, Clark Kent (The Superman) is a cool reporter.

I don’t admit myself as a bookworm but before I got stuck on my laptop, I always spend most of my free time reading all sorts of magazines and books. I would have apply for a job as a journalist for a local newspaper column if I have not been exposed to the Internet.

So, why do I choose Internet marketing?

It’s simple. With the power of Internet, the world is your boundary. I can conduct my business from any location, as long as there’s an Internet connection. And with the power of automation that Internet has, I can set my online marketing campaign once and monitor and tweak it once in a while.

Money is a strong motivating factor for me, because I was raised in a family where money was always a scarce resource. So, that’s why I started to do part time jobs when I was in my secondary school. And in year 2002, I was exposed to the idea of online marketing while studying in a local university in West Malaysia. I was so excited when I read the success stories of netpreneur like Corey Rudl, (or shall I say salesletter) and from that day onwards, I vowed to myself, I will make myself to be known as one of the first few and youngest millionaire who earn a living online in Malaysia. In fact, Corey Rudl was the real reason why I believe it’s possible to make a living online.

So, do you have your own story why you have decided you want to make money on the Internet? I would love to hear them. Maybe you can blog about it and link back to me so that me and other blog visitors can read your story.

Funny, but to me it is not just a question of making money online. I see this as a job opportunity just like any other. I could be a Marketing Manager for one company in an office, or a Consulting Marketing Manager for several companies and use the internet as a tool in my job.
I like option 2.

Hi Cindy, thank you very much for the input.

Yeah, but you will still need to establish yourself as a Marketing Manager in a company before someone will trust you for more important responsibilities, right? ;)
